LADY JUSTICE COSMETICS
PRODUCT USE, SAFETY & LIABILITY TERMS
These Product Use, Safety & Liability Terms (“Terms”) apply to the purchase and use of cosmetic and skincare products offered by Lady Justice Cosmetics (“Lady Justice Cosmetics,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By purchasing, receiving, or using a Lady Justice Cosmetics product, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to use our products only as directed and for their intended cosmetic purposes.
1. COSMETIC USE ONLY
Unless expressly stated otherwise on the product labeling, Lady Justice Cosmetics products are intended for cosmetic use only. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Our products are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
2. INDIVIDUAL SKIN TYPES AND SENSITIVITIES
Every person's skin is different. Individual skin types, sensitivities, allergies, and reactions may vary.
Although Lady Justice Cosmetics takes reasonable care in the formulation, manufacture, packaging, and labeling of its products, we cannot guarantee that every product will be suitable or tolerated by every individual.
A reaction may occur even when a product has previously been tolerated or when an individual has used similar ingredients without experiencing a reaction.
3. PATCH TESTING
Customers are strongly encouraged to perform a patch test before using a new product, particularly when using a product for the first time or when the customer has known skin sensitivities or allergies.
A patch test does not guarantee that an adverse reaction will not occur.
Customers should review the complete ingredient list before use and should not use a product if they know or suspect that they are allergic or sensitive to any of its ingredients.
4. DIRECTIONS AND PROPER USE
Customers are responsible for reading and following all product directions, warnings, precautions, and usage instructions before and during use.
Customers should not:

Use a product in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose;

Apply a product more frequently or in greater quantities than directed;

Apply a product to broken, damaged, infected, or severely irritated skin unless specifically directed by a qualified healthcare professional;

Introduce a product into the eyes, mouth, or other areas for which the product was not intended;

Combine products in a manner that may increase the risk of irritation; or
-
Use a product after its recommended period of use or expiration, where applicable.
5. ADVERSE REACTIONS
Discontinue use immediately if you experience redness, itching, burning, swelling, rash, irritation, unusual dryness, blistering, or any other unexpected reaction.
If a reaction is severe, persistent, worsening, or concerning, seek appropriate medical attention.
Customers should contact Lady Justice Cosmetics promptly regarding any suspected adverse reaction so that the Company can document and appropriately evaluate the complaint.
Nothing in these Terms prevents or limits Lady Justice Cosmetics from taking appropriate action regarding a reported adverse event, including actions required by applicable law.
6. ALLERGIES AND INDIVIDUAL SENSITIVITY
Lady Justice Cosmetics is not responsible for an adverse reaction arising from an individual's known or unknown allergy, sensitivity, or personal intolerance to an ingredient, except to the extent that applicable law provides otherwise.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the product's ingredient list before use and determining whether they should use the product based on their individual circumstances.
7. MISUSE AND FAILURE TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lady Justice Cosmetics shall not be responsible for injury, irritation, reaction, loss, or damage caused by:

Misuse or improper use of a product;

Use contrary to the product's instructions or warnings;

Excessive or repeated use contrary to directions;

Use on unsuitable or compromised skin;

Use after an applicable expiration or recommended-use period;

Failure to perform an appropriate patch test;

Failure to review the ingredient list;

Use despite a known allergy or sensitivity;

Use for a purpose for which the product was not intended; or
-
Combining the product with other products in a manner that causes an adverse reaction.
This provision does not exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
8. RESULTS MAY VARY
Lady Justice Cosmetics does not guarantee that every customer will experience the same results.
Individual results may vary based on skin type, age, environmental conditions, product use, frequency of use, other products being used, and individual biological differences.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, product descriptions and cosmetic benefits are not guarantees of a particular result.
9. MEDICAL CONDITIONS, PREGNANCY, AND SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
Customers who are pregnant, nursing, under medical care, taking medications, have known allergies, or have an existing skin condition should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before using a new skincare or cosmetic product when they have concerns about whether the product is appropriate for them.
Lady Justice Cosmetics does not provide medical advice and does not determine whether a product is appropriate for an individual's medical circumstances.
10. CHILDREN
Unless a product is specifically intended and labeled for children, Lady Justice Cosmetics products should be kept out of reach of children.
Parents, guardians, and caregivers are responsible for determining whether a cosmetic product is appropriate for a child and for supervising its use.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lady Justice Cosmetics, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, representatives, suppliers, and affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to the purchase, possession, or use of a product.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company's liability for a product-related claim shall be limited to the remedies available under applicable law and, where legally permissible, the purchase price actually paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, waive, or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded, waived, or limited.
12. NO WAIVER OF LEGAL RIGHTS
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive any consumer rights, statutory rights, or legal protections that cannot lawfully be waived.
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
13. PRODUCT COMPLAINTS AND ADVERSE EVENTS
Customers are encouraged to report product concerns, suspected adverse reactions, product defects, or other complaints to Lady Justice Cosmetics as soon as reasonably possible.
When reporting a concern, customers may be asked to provide information such as:

Product name;

Lot or batch number;

Date of purchase;
-
Date the product was first used;
-
Description of the reaction or concern;
-
Where the product was applied;
-
How the product was used;
-
Other skincare or cosmetic products being used at the same time;

Photographs, where appropriate; and
-
Whether medical attention was sought.
Customers should preserve the product and packaging when possible if a serious product complaint occurs.
Lady Justice Cosmetics may request additional information reasonably necessary to investigate a complaint.
14. PRODUCT SAFETY AND REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
Lady Justice Cosmetics intends to comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing its cosmetic products.
Nothing in these Terms limits any responsibility Lady Justice Cosmetics may have under applicable law regarding product safety, adverse-event reporting, product labeling, manufacturing, recordkeeping, or regulatory compliance.
15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Lady Justice Cosmetics reserves the right to update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of a customer's purchase may apply to that transaction, subject to applicable law.
